Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the Alternative Investments Network (AIN) is a group of young Emory alumni who are responsible for planning and executing an ongoing series of events and opportunities for the Network’s members. This group is committed to furthering the Network’s overarching goals, and is interested in forging meaningful relationships between Emory alumni and other practitioners working or interested in private equity and hedge funds. David Glattstein
President

David is a President of the Alternative Investments Network’s Executive Committee, and is currently an associate at Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle-market leveraged buyouts. David started at Sentinel in 2007 after spending three years in UBS Investment Bank’s analyst program, most recently in the Financial Sponsor Group. Previously, David was an equity research intern at Fidelity Investments. David graduated with a BBA from Goizueta in 2004. He currently lives in New York City.


Tatiana Barbato
Vice President

Tatiana is currently an analyst at Palladium Equity Partners, a mid-market private equity firm focused on the Hispanic Market in the United States and Latin America. Previously, Tatiana worked as an investment banking analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group of Wachovia Securities, where she also interned. Tatiana earned a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University in 2006. She currently lives in New York City.


Ming Zhao
Vice President

Ming is an associate at private equity firm Bain Capital, working in the Hong Kong office. Previously, Ming worked for the Boston Consulting Group, a management consulting company, in its Atlanta and Mumbai offices where she worked across the hospitality, alcoholic beverages, healthcare, and industrial goods industries. Ming is a 2006 alumnus of Emory’s undergraduate Goizueta Business School. While in Hong Kong, she founded the Emory Alumni Chapter of Hong Kong/Shenzhen.


Tao Bu
Vice President

Tao is currently an investment banking analyst at Barclays Capital (previously Lehman Brothers) in its Natural Resources Group. Prior to her full-time position, Tao interned in Lehman Brothers’ Communications & Media Group in the summer of 2007. Tao graduated from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in May 2008 with concentrations in Finance, Business Law, and a minor in French Studies. In addition to her position on the Committee, she is also an active alum of the Delta Zeta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. Tao currently resides in New York City.


Alex Chadwick
Vice President

Alex is currently an investment banking analyst at Harris Williams & Co. Alex graduated with a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in May 2009. While at Emory, Alex served as a Program Manager for the Emory Center for Alternative Investments. Other previous experience includes internships at Wachovia Securities and Senator Mike DeWine’s office on Capitol Hill. Alex currently resides in Richmond, Virginia.
